Whole Turkey & Bone-In Breast
- Preheat oven to 325º
- Rinse turkey, pat dry. Be certain to remove neck, giblets, etc.
- Place Turkey in roasting pan, breast side up.
- Cover loosely with foil. (Remove foil for the last 30 minutes of cooking.)
- Cook 15 minutes per pound at 325-degrees.
If using a meat thermometer, the internal temperature should be 172-174 degrees. The thermometer should be placed into the thickest part of the breast without touching the bone.
Bone-In Breast
Follow the instructions above, HOWEVER, the internal temperature should be 165 degrees when done.
